Everyone deserves a second chance at love. But for years Maddie has had to concentrate on making ends meet for herself and her teenage daughter Jenny, and that hasn't left much time for her photography career, and absolutely none for romance. Besides, with her background, she is probably better off alone.

But Jenny is gone for the summer so Maddie makes the leap, jump-starting her flagging photography career to work on her first solo show.

She rents a charming but dilapidated cabin on a lake in the mountains, in search of her muse. A muse that just might be in the form of her handy if somewhat grumpy landlord Jake.
