Eight years after fleeing Caseville, Michigan, Hailey Lambert returns to help her siblings settle family matters after their mother’s death and her father's illness. They need to rent out the family farm, but the only interested tenant is someone Hailey refuses to let back into her life.

Nate needs to lease the Lambert farm to secure a horse for his daughter's speech therapy. The only obstacle is Hailey, the woman who vanished from his life without a word eight years ago.
