In the fall of 1995, Carmen Simpkins experienced both the best and worst moments of her life. After several years of infertility issues, Carmen miscarries and withdraws from everything and everyone. Out of sacrificial love for her husband, Spencer, she files for divorce and sets off on a journey of self discovery. Along the way, she meets antique shopkeepers, Irene and Norman who in turn mends her broken heart through the use of a weathered leather photo album. Had Carmen made a tragic mistake?
