Love can be found in the strangest places, including space. Humans have always believed there was life on other planets. When they received messages from among the stars, they sent a spaceship to find the aliens. The ship's commander and his wife were no longer compatible, making the trip uncomfortable for both. Their arguments became a moot point when the craft malfunctioned and crashed on a planet inhabited by warriors. Quinn, the commander's widow now, was the sole survivor. Alone, she faced a race of giant warriors referred to as Milisarian Knights. With swords they conquered and claimed other planets as their own, as King Arthur had done to neighboring kingdoms in legends on Earth. Quinn found an unlikely ally in her guard, Lethek. A genetic mutation kept him from becoming a Knight and he used Quinn to gain the king's notice. He got more than he bargained for. Resigned to never see Earth again, Quinn assimilated to the Milisarian culture. But, Earth had not forsaken its missing citizens and rescuers were sent. Treaties were signed protecting both planets from war, but Quinn was left with a choice.
