Nathaniel is not having a good year. He’s unappreciated at work, strapped for cash, and worse—his father died. The way he sees it, he has one chance to get his life straight and he’s going to take it. 

Bastian just wants to end the day and have a hot cup of his special brew. Unfortunately, between a couple of regular customers and a cagey stranger who walks in at closing, he’s stuck in the shop for a while longer.

When Nathaniel enters Bastian’s store, he nervously sets his plan in motion. Fortunately for Bastian, the reluctant miscreant has no idea the wizardry he’s walked into.
