Dustsong: Len the Wanderer

The chosen ones have fallen from grace. Strange and terrible beasts, and stranger and more terrible beings, roam the land. The lines between heaven and earth are thin—and between friend and foe, even thinner. Len grows up in a remote alpine hollow with his parents and brother. In adulthood, an accident compels Len to flee his mistakes, as well as the only home and people he's ever known. The Wright, lord of the heaven-realm, places a curse on Len, who becomes a wanderer in a young world. With an otherworldly being, a giant critter, and desert-folk as unlikely allies, he contends with beasts, barbarians, demons, and his own conflicted soul. Ultimately, he'll have to confront the Wright and his past if he wants to be restored to the life he knew. Along the way, a new people is born in the wandering wastes, and new possibilities arise for Len's future—and for that of the earthly realm.
